Hired Geeks is a progressive rock jazz/ska band known for unorthodox songwriting and a refreshingly unique sound. For 8 years they have been a staple in the midwest ska and jazz rock scenes, intriguing audiences with syncopated rhythms and key changes, while maintaining a catchy pop overtone.
"Bass Trombone in Other Styles - Jazz Rock: A nice example of a Superbone (valve/slide combo trombone) that emulates the bass trombone by playing in the low register can be found in Hired Geeks @ "Proridiculous."" - The Non-Classic Bass Trombone by Eliezer Aharoni (Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra)

"Hired Geeks are a band in constant evolution with a revolutionary sound that makes the listener think about the music, it is truly literature for your ears"
- DJ Jess @ WIPZ Radio 88.5 FM

"These guys hail from Kenosha with an original and upbeat ska sound. Every song on their disc has that catchy backbeat that ska is so famous for. But for once there is something different coming out of Kenosha. 'Charity' has a creepy ska sound to it that caught me off guard. 'Spank' brings an in your face ska-rock sound to the table. Check these guys out, they rock." - Lucas J. Keller, columnist, www.milwaukeerocks.com, Milwaukee's Rock 102.1 FM

"Hired Geeks - Taking my ears to the next musical level! (Level 2)"
- Rob Kleiner, Tub Ring

"My favorite type of geek. Great show!"
- Bucket, Megalith Records, The Toasters

"You guys rocked!" - Dave Kirchgessner, Mustard Plug

"Hotter than a magnesium mine fire" - Brandon Gadjit, The Gadjits

"Hired Geeks have put on a great show for us for the last five years. They're an excellent band to work with." - Zach Erickson, Skappleton coordinator

"Chicks dig nerds! Everyone loves a good nerd, and if you're anyone, you'll be in love with these guys." - Skratch Magazine
